Pumpkin Cottage
Pumpkin Cottage is one of our delightful Farm Cottages located adjacent to the convict built Farm Village. Overlooking the English style countryside and only a short walk to the Macquarie River, renowned for its excellent trout fishing, this cottage is the perfect spot to relax.
Contructed from recycled materials and featuring many traditional convict building techniques this one bedroom cottage accommodates a queen bed and single bed in the bedroom and a fold out sofa in the lounge. Pumpkin Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with oven/stove, small fridge, microwave, tea and coffee facilities, cutlery & crockery and a bathroom with all linen and a shower over a high step - allowing for little ones to be bathed after a busy day on the farm. A wood heater in the lounge and electric heaters and blankets will keep you warm and cosy and the verandah is the ideal spot for a glass of Tasmanian wine after a day of enjoying Northern Tasmania's delights.
Pumpkin Cottage is also located next to Pea in a Pod and Sweetcorn Cottages which means your whole family or group of friends can enjoy accommodation together.
